Born in Kanagawa Prefecture, JAPAN. Completed coursework toward a Ph.D. at the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, The University of Tokyo. After engaging in research on the digital society and business development at Hakuhodo Inc., he founded Re:public Inc. He leads projects that drive social transformation and market creation across the public, private, and academic sectors.

In 2014, he relocated to Fukuoka and shifted his activities to focus on Kyushu. In 2019, he co-founded UNA Laboratories Inc., where he has been working—primarily in the Chikugo region—to build ecosystems involving diverse stakeholders and to explore new possibilities in manufacturing and craftsmanship.
